Newstead and Annesley Country Park is a beautiful eco-friendly park just north of Nottingham. It is 5 minutes away from Newstead Railway Station and less than 10 minutes’ drive from Junction 27 of the M1. Postcode for Sat Nav: NG15 0BS.
The Park is 220 acres and is situated on the site of the former colliery pit tips. The whole area has amazing wildlife interest and a number of volunteers work to protect and enhance the area, half of which is a ‘Site of Importance for Nature Conservation’.
